Position Overview

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dedicated team providing a comprehensive and effective vaccination service tailored for expectant mothers within the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role will focus on leading the vaccination initiatives for the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) programme, while also supporting the administration of influenza, COVID-19, and pertussis vaccinations during pregnancy. The chosen applicant will actively promote vaccination awareness and healthy pregnancy choices among our maternity service users.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engage with pregnant women and their families during the antenatal phase.

2. Offer public health guidance and educational resources to the women and birthing individuals of Gloucestershire.

3. Administer vaccines to pregnant women, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

4. Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, including midwives, consultants, and maternity support personnel.
