We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Nurse Anaesthesia and Theatre to join our team at the University of Cambridge. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting our specialist veterinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care and manage workflow throughout the hospital.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist specialist nurses with the care of patients and teams, including monitoring patients under general anaesthesia or sedation during procedures.
- Work collaboratively with veterinary clinicians and nurses to deliver outstanding patient care and manage workflow in surgical theatres, medicine procedure rooms, and monitoring areas.
- Provide one-to-one patient care and assist with intensive recovery as needed.
- Contribute to a fast-paced environment, working independently with minimal supervision and adapting to changing priorities.
