About the Role

Merco Medical Staffing Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals in Plymouth. As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our team to deliver excellent healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Focus on preventative medicine and conduct home visits as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to practice management.
  • Engage in educational activities, such as training junior doctors, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC and on the GP Register.
  • Previous Primary Care experience.
  • SystmOne proficiency.
  • Expertise in managing acute and chronic conditions, with a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Knowledge of current NHS practices, guidelines, and legal regulations.
  • Additional qualifications/specific areas of interest, such as diabetes care, women's health, and dermatology are desirable.
