About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our investments team as an Asset and Investment Analyst. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to gather insights and assumptions to evaluate value and potential risks.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Develop advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, along with a strong understanding of corporate finance principles and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Build and maintain bespoke financial models and valuation analyses, including DCFs, LBOs, and precedent transactions for M&A, licensing, and organic growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine modelling assumptions across various areas such as epidemiology/market share modelling, pricing and reimbursement, regulatory, product development, clinical, commercial, and operations.
  • Become proficient with databases like IQVIA and Global Data to drive commercial analysis and gain a deeper understanding of market dynamics and landscape.
  • Support financial, operational, and commercial due diligence processes, working with internal subject matter experts to incorporate key risks into valuation methodology.
  • Create key investment materials, including board papers, integration plans, pitch decks, and other supporting documents.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders to inform and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare investment case reviews for existing projects, comparing actuals vs planned forecast and reporting on variances.
About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, programming languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse complex financial and technical data.
  • Basic understanding of M&A and Licensing processes.
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical industry, with a willingness to develop in-depth expertise.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in business English, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Great organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work diligently, and under pressure, to tight deadlines.
  • Team player, also able to work independently.
