Primary School Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our team at a lovely family feel primary school in Isleworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the primary curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and conducting regular assessments to monitor student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the school's educational programs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student performance and progress.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Ideally, you will already have a full DBS on the update service but we can process a new one if required.
