Discover is on the lookout for a Lead Software Quality Engineer to become a vital part of our agile development teams. In this position, you will play a key role in clarifying requirements, creating automated regression testing frameworks, and guaranteeing the delivery of top-notch applications. You will also be responsible for managing risks and escalating issues that may affect customers to the management team as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements solutions for critical technology and business projects
  • Demonstrates expertise in multiple areas such as programming languages, security protocols, automation techniques, testing methodologies, and business sectors
  • Engages in strategic technology decisions that influence the organization
  • Proactively identifies and resolves challenges across various domains
  • Offers guidance and support to technology communities within the organization

Essential Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or similar fields
  • Internal candidates must achieve a technical proficiency rating of proficient

  • Establishing best practices and guidelines for testing
  • Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, SpringData, RESTful APIs, Kafka, and more
