The RoleWe're seeking a skilled Confectioner to join our team at our central production unit in Leyton, London. As a Confectioner, you'll work as part of our bakery team, ensuring that the required product quality, safety, and hygiene standards are delivered and maintained across the site.
Key Responsibilities- Produce products that meet our quality and productivity standards.
- Work as part of the wider bakery team and communicate effectively.
- Work under pressure and in a challenging environment.
- Prioritize a demanding workload to ensure all aims are achieved.
- Coach and develop junior members of the team.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a Confectioner within a food production or bakery environment (3 years minimum).
- Strong knowledge of safety standards - Food safety/hygiene certification preferred.
- Salary up to £34,650 depending on experience.
- Free food and drink whilst on shift.
- 50% discount at any Ole and Steen location.
- Uniform provided.
- 28 days holiday.
