About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Solicitor to join our team in East Sussex. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Public and Private Family Law matters, including Child Protection, PLO cases, and Private Law Children Act proceedings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of Public and Private Family Law matters, including Child Protection, PLO cases, and Private Law Children Act proceedings.
  • Act for parents in PLO cases and care proceedings.
  • Represent clients in Private Law Children Act proceedings and non-molestation order applications.
  • Advise clients on occupation orders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in Legal Aid work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire for continued development.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and have strong communication skills.
  • Client-focused with a strong ability to seek out opportunities to optimise client relationships.
