Position Overview

As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a Logistics Operations Supervisor to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

Shift Details: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.

In the role of Logistics Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing warehouse activities to ensure that service standards are met efficiently and safely. Your leadership will be essential in meeting customer expectations consistently. Our site collaborates with some of the most recognized brands, making customer satisfaction a top priority.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary liaison for communication with administrative, inventory, and management teams to address any challenges encountered in the warehouse. Prepare and finalize shift handover documentation thoroughly and share data collected on tracking documents to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts. Oversee the performance management of warehouse operatives utilizing management system tools. Lead your team while ensuring adherence to personnel processes and policies. Develop training and resource plans in collaboration with support teams to ensure the right skill set is available on your shift, aligned with capability planning. Ensure compliance with all necessary regulations regarding key control, key logs, radio logs, scanner logs, and pre-operation checks for material handling equipment. Complete all safety and legal checks, ensuring they are documented and verified monthly. Assist with weekly updates for customers as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or senior warehouse operative role, preferably in a dynamic logistics or third-party logistics environment. Familiarity with operational and personnel management. Proficient computer skills with a keen attention to detail; knowledge of warehouse management systems and SAP is advantageous. Capability to inspire and empower team members while providing opportunities for their development and coaching. Flexibility to adapt to team dynamics with proactive communication skills. Ability to work systematically and methodically to consistently meet project objectives.
