Copyright and Licensing Specialist

- Support the coordination and administration of copyright and licensing for IMO sales publications, ensuring adherence to technical and security specifications, and collaborating with the team to identify and address any issues.
- Conduct regular reviews and analyses of rights and licensing queries, and propose corrective and preventive measures to ensure compliance and maximize revenue potential.
- Assist in negotiations and drafting of agreements and contract extensions, and review royalty statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on rights management and best practices.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for rights and licensing, and support the building and maintenance of relationships with rights and licensing service providers.
- Support the formulation of strategic recommendations for the rights and licensing of IMO sales publications, and contribute to the development of distribution strategies across various platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and provide advice to senior members on innovative solutions to maximize revenue potential.
- Prepare statistical analyses and reports on rights and licensing activities, and propose recommendations for improving business practices.
- Support the implementation of initiatives to promote IMO's sales products to a global audience, leveraging digital platforms and in-person demonstrations to maximize reach and impact.
- Manage relationships with distributors, and participate in responding to customer inquiries and requests via email and phone.
- Provide support across the Publishing Service, stepping in as needed to ensure continuity of operations.
