About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Koch Engineered Solutions. As a Mechanical Pressure Vessel Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, including tanks and pressure vessels, for our process packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including tanks and pressure vessels, for process packages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements and specifications
  • Ensure equipment designed meets necessary design codes and standards, project specifications, and good engineering practices
  • Resolve design issues with clients, contractors, vendors, and third parties
  • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and quality assurance activities
Requirements
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in complex mechanical systems or packages
  • Good working knowledge of ASME VIII DIV.1 and PD5500
  • Experience in preparation and review of calculation notes and reports
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering on time, within budget, with quality and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
