Reliability Maintenance Engineering Role

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment, ensuring that our machinery runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance
  2. Diagnose and repair faults in a live distribution warehouse environment
  3. Utilize advanced tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and efficiency
  4. Adhere to all health and safety policies and practices to ensure a safe working environment
  5. Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices and contribute to the growth of our maintenance team
  6. Participate in continuous improvement projects and implement best practices across multiple EU sites
About the Team

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is a critical component of Amazon's operations, working together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. We work collaboratively to ensure that our equipment is running at optimal levels, allowing Amazon to deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements
  1. NVQ Level 3 (or international equivalent) in an engineering discipline or another practical engineering qualification
  2. Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, preferably in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  3. Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
