Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention Team at Cambridge University Hospitals. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing a holistic, patient-centered admission avoidance service.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, develop, and implement specialist therapy provision in the Emergency Department, Short Stay Wards, and G2 Frailty Unit.
- Provide specialist advice and support to, and liaise with, other staff to support admission avoidance and early supported discharge where appropriate.
- Contribute to seven-day working between the hours of 8am and 8pm, based on a rota system.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled and experienced team, providing a specialized therapy assessment to prevent unnecessary admissions of patients into acute care or to begin their acute rehabilitation. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, advice, treatment, and evaluation of patients to formulate treatment plans.
Requirements- Registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Post-registration qualification in speciality or willingness to complete.
- Degree.
- Research Module.
