Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Coordination: Oversee and manage inventory activities to guarantee precision and efficiency in stock management.
  • Supplier Relations: Foster and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers to support inventory needs.
  • Cost Control: Assist in developing and implementing inventory management strategies aimed at controlling costs, generating savings, and optimizing working capital.
  • Stock Maintenance: Ensure accurate maintenance of material and product inventories, including stock profiles and locations across various sites.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Conduct perpetual inventory counts and accuracy checks to uphold high standards of inventory integrity.
  • Goods Management: Ensure that the goods inward and stock control areas are organized and efficient to support production goals.
  • Process Improvement: Implement systems and processes to minimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and maximize working capital.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise written procedures for all primary inventory control processes.
  • Stock Audits: Manage and execute planned stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Reporting: Generate weekly reports to monitor critical areas of the stock system and address any discrepancies.
  • Order Coordination: Oversee project coordination of orders to ensure accuracy in picking.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant professional qualification and/or substantial experience in inventory management or purchasing. A comprehensive understanding of MRP, inventory control systems, and ERP is essential.
