The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele University's Estate and Campus Services Directorate. The Directorate is responsible for delivering a comprehensive, efficient, and customer-focused service across a diverse range of activities to the Keele University community.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day repairs and planned maintenance works on campus. This will include carpentry and joinery, bricklaying, installation, and alteration of copper pipework, and providing the highest level of customer service across the University's estate.

You will have completed a formal apprenticeship and possess a craft qualification equivalent to a City & Guilds Certificate and experience in a construction, building, or facilities management. The successful applicant must also have post-qualification experience and excellent organizational, planning, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well within a team.
