Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a Place-focused social action strategy and plan, aligned with local needs and Aviva's Social Action Strategy Framework.
- Convene the Aviva Local Place Taskforce to lead the implementation of the social action plan and connect with site-based activity, including Inclusion, Diversity & Equity, Aviva Communities, and Wellbeing Heroes.
- Manage and develop the Business in the Community (BITC) relationship, working closely with local businesses, councils, and community stakeholders to develop a shared view on local priorities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment of activities and mobilize colleagues to support community engagement initiatives.
- Experience in social impact, community development, and the delivery of social impact programs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to develop internal and external relationships.
- Collaborative team player with the capability to inspire and motivate others and make decisions to enable delivery.
- Analytical skills to assess local need and develop long-term strategies and implementation plans.
- Starting salary circa £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary (actual amount depends on performance and Aviva's results).
