Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school day by supervising classes during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task with their work.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and manage student behaviour in accordance with the school's policy.
- Assist with the setting up of activities and supporting students where necessary.
- Act as a role model and set high expectations for students.
- Provide feedback to the regular class teacher on student progress and any issues encountered.
- Support the school in other capacities as required, including assisting with exam invigilation or other administrative tasks.
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- A good understanding of the UK curriculum across key stages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to manage a diverse range of students.
- A degree is desirable but not essential.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
