Job Title: Gas Engineer/ Domestic Plumbers

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer/ Domestic Plumber to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing gas installation work, carrying out plumbing repair and maintenance tasks, and undertaking installations and associated works.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform gas installation work to the highest standards
  2. Carry out plumbing repair and maintenance tasks with precision
  3. Undertake installations and associated works with minimal disruption
  4. Conduct reactive repairs and servicing of boilers, fires, and other appliances
  5. Execute heating engineering and plumbing duties with attention to detail
  6. Ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
  7. Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction

What We Offer:

  1. Basic salary plus overtime paid at 1.5 rate
  2. Contributory pension scheme
  3. Company van (need your own tools)
  4. 4 weeks paid holiday per annum plus bank holidays paid
  5. Monday – Friday standard hours
  6. Regular reviews / pay reviews
  7. Private health care (after 12 months)

Requirements:

  1. ACS accreditation
  2. Level 3 NVQ & City and Guilds
  3. Proficient in using, repairing, and maintaining machines and tools
  4. Excellent attention to detail
  5. Strong customer service skills
  6. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  7. Patience and the ability to stay calm under pressure
