Gregory Distribution is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 Milk Tanker Driver to join our team in a transhipment role.
As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of bulk milk to dairies across the UK. Your commitment to punctuality and customer satisfaction will be essential in ensuring smooth operations.
Your Responsibilities:- Delivering bulk milk consignments to various dairy facilities throughout the UK.
- Performing transhipment duties, ensuring accurate handling and transfer of milk products.
- Maintaining regular communication with the transport team, providing updates on progress and managing customer expectations.
- Adhering to strict delivery schedules and adhering to all relevant safety regulations.
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 CE or Class 2 C Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience operating fridge trailers is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided.
- A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
