Job Title: Apprentice Geomatics Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Geomatics Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for completing a range of small to large-scale topographical, measured building, and setting out surveys using innovative technology and processing data in the office to a high working standard.

About the Role

You will work independently on various survey projects, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to deliver high-quality results. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Completing topographical surveys of various scales and complexities independently to a high standard.
  2. Completing measured building surveys of various scales and complexities independently to a high standard.
  3. Leading large and complex surveying projects, working with team members of various technical abilities and experiences to complete the project to a high standard.
  4. Organizing and providing concise instructions, guidance, and direction to multiple teams on large and complex survey projects.
  5. Working effectively on projects with trainee, junior, and survey technician level staff, assisting with their development by providing practical experience onsite and office work.
  6. Processing multiple data sets from various instrumentation to a high working standard, including topographical and measured building data.
  7. Contributing effectively to the smooth running of projects with minimum supervision to achieve agreed goals, project outputs, and consistently delivering high-quality performance.
  8. Undertaking initial site inspections and completing dynamic risk assessments when attending survey sites, reporting any safety issues to the wider surveying team or to management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. A full UK driving license.
