About the Role: Solution 47 is thrilled to announce an opening for a 3D CAD Engineering and Sales Support Specialist. This role is essential for our growing team.


As part of a dynamic and innovative organization, you will enjoy a collaborative work environment, operating Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce 3D CAD models, detailed production drawings, and CAM programs for manufacturing processes.
  • Create and maintain route cards and bills of materials for production and procurement teams, ensuring all documentation is current and accurate.
  • Provide technical assistance to clients, the sales department, project management, and production teams to meet customer expectations and support business growth.
  • Generate rendered visuals and approval drawings to facilitate order acquisition, including estimating and conducting site assessments.


Main Duties:

  • Support sales and project management through various tasks such as estimating, order processing, and site surveys.
  • Collaborate with customers, internal sales, production teams, and suppliers to address specific project requirements, including technical inquiries and prototype design.
  • Oversee the CAD/CAM team in creating 3D models, approval drawings, and CAM programs, ensuring timely delivery aligned with production schedules.
  • Prepare comprehensive job folders containing all necessary documentation, including drawings, route cards, and checklists.


Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all CAD and CAM outputs meet quality standards, are up-to-date, and optimize material usage and productivity.


Problem Solving:

Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production-related challenges, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.

Stay informed about the latest advancements in CAD, CAM, and production control software, and enhance your skills through ongoing training opportunities.


Work Environment:

Be prepared to manage your workload effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.


Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in sales and project management, with a track record of building strong customer relationships.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in 3D CAD modeling software, including 2D drafting.
  • Familiarity with CAM programming is preferred.
  • Experience in direct customer interaction and knowledge of generating route cards and bills of materials.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-motivated attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
