Key responsibilities include checking and verifying build standards and functioning of equipment to engineering specification and tolerances in a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

* Ability to test complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams
* Proficient in soldering, crimping, lacing and splicing
* Competent in the use of electronic test equipment and able to follow complex test specifications
* Proficient in fault finding and ability to diagnose in a methodical manner
* Familiarity with a variety of Mil Spec Connectors, Cable Ident and Cable production techniques
* ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) awareness
* Assembly and testing/repair of PCB's

Ideal candidate will have completed a recognised apprenticeship in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering or be educated to a minimum of NVQ / City & Guilds level 3 in a relevant discipline.

Working hours are Monday-Thursday 8:15am- 5.00pm and Friday 8:15am- 12:45pm. You will be rewarded with a market rate salary which will increase as you train in the role. In addition, you will receive 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, company pension and free parking.
