About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team at RecruitAbility Ltd. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing and processing sales and purchase ledger transactions, handling bank transactions and bank reconciliation, and overseeing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sage Processing: Manage and process all sales and purchase ledger transactions through Sage.
  • Bank Transactions: Handle posting bank transactions and bank reconciliation.
  • Stock Control: Transfer data from Linnworks to Sage.
  • Transaction Management: Oversee numerous mini transactions for various companies within our group.
  • Expense Management: Run expenses for the field sales team and manage credit card reconciliations.
  • Currency: Work in a multi-currency environment.
Requirements
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, particularly in V-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Sage Experience: Previous experience with Sage is required.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data inputting and reconciliations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work on varied tasks.
  • Team Player: Someone who throws themselves into their work and can keep things running smoothly.
  • Retail Accounting: Ideal candidates will have a background in retail accounting.
  • Qualifications: AAT level 3 and above would be ideal.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Driving: Essential to have a car and drive.
