Job Summary:

Enlighten Supply Pool is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our recruitment processes and maintaining the highest standards of compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update our database of viable candidates to assist our consultants in filling current and future talent pipelines.
  • Be involved in the candidate registration process from the outset, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist candidates with the application process, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Support candidate clearances and chase in a professional manner, ensuring that all necessary checks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Consistently maintain accurate records of candidate clearances and right to work checks.
  • Stay up-to-date with Government/Home Office guidance and relevant legislation, ensuring that our recruitment processes remain compliant.
  • Develop and maintain a sound understanding of GDPR and other relevant regulations, ensuring that our data protection practices are robust.
  • Update our various policies, including Equal Opportunities and Diversity, Privacy Policy, AWR, and other relevant documents.
  • Develop knowledge of the UK education system and comparisons worldwide, providing valuable insights to our consultants and clients.
  • Work closely with our software development team to streamline compliance administration and ensure that our systems are efficient and effective.
  • Provide administrative support to the MD, including tasks related to Human Resources.
  • Send email reminders to candidates to complete their applications in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related administrative and recruitment tasks as instructed.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Good listening skills and tact are essential in this role.
  • Effective ICT skills, with the ability to use the entire Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience in managing a team, with the ability to review, encourage, and motivate individual team members.
  • Ability to carry out performance evaluations with team members.
  • Ability to show initiative and good judgment, functioning well under pressure.
  • High level of ambition to succeed, with a practical 'can-do' mentality.
