About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our team at Southern Housing Careers. As a Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support services to individuals with learning disabilities living in our supported housing scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and care to residents, promoting independence, health, and wellbeing in accordance with their individualized plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality care services, ensuring the needs of residents are met.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Participate in sleep-in duties, providing overnight support and care as required.
  • Work flexibly to cover evenings and weekends, ensuring the needs of the service are met.

Requirements:

  • Physical ability to undertake moving and handling tasks.
  • Use of a vehicle with business use insurance.
  • Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
