Role Overview
As the Senior Construction Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of managing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring the successful execution of kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects. Your leadership will be crucial in the planning and management of both direct and subcontracted labor, aligning with our ongoing social housing refurbishment contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Manage project planning and labor allocation in accordance with contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Review and challenge subcontractor RAMS, health and safety protocols, and financial reporting.
Essential Qualifications
- SMSTS certification, appropriate CSCS card, First Aid at Work certification, and asbestos awareness (duty to manage is a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of building refurbishment, particularly in kitchen and bathroom projects.
- Valid driver's license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- A proactive approach to quality, safety, and project accountability.
- Experience in managing construction or maintenance teams within the social housing sector.
Desirable Attributes
- Membership in CIOB or a related construction organization.
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical fields is advantageous.
