Position Overview

We are seeking a Versatile Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our dynamic engineering team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Work Schedule

The position involves working on a Panama 2's/3's schedule with 12-hour shifts, alternating between two weeks of day shifts and two weeks of night shifts.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive pay: £300 gross payment for each shift of overtime worked.

We are a rapidly growing multinational organization with over 50 years of expertise in delivering top-quality building materials. Our Coventry facility employs around 400 individuals, including a dedicated team of over 30 maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing a diverse range of industrial machinery, including hydraulic presses, rollers, conveyors, and robotic systems.
  • Working with various PLC systems, including ABB, Siemens, and Allan Bradley.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A mechanical or electrical bias, with a ratio of 70:30.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial maintenance role.
  • A relevant maintenance qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC, City and Guilds, or equivalent).
