The Role: Dermatology Nurse Prescriber

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Nurse Prescriber to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert nursing care to patients with a range of dermatological conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose dermatological conditions through patient history, physical examination, and relevant investigations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of skin disorders.
  • Prescribe and administer medications as appropriate, ensuring adherence to best practices and guidelines.
  • Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Post-registration experience in dermatology or a related specialty.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of dermatological conditions, treatments, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
