Job Opportunity: Experienced Gas Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join our team at Moxie People. As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for providing gas engineering maintenance and servicing, responsive repairs, upgrades, and new installations to social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide gas engineering maintenance and servicing to social housing properties.
  2. Work within a 70-strong experienced gas team covering Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Berkshire.
  3. Be responsible for individual work diary and the timely and accurate forwarding of documents as required.
  4. Possess a broad knowledge and technical understanding of all policies, practices, and processes relevant to the provision of maintenance contracting, replacement of housing components, control systems, wet hot water, and heating systems.
Requirements:
  1. Gas Safe qualified.
  2. Current holder of ACS, minimum requirements being CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, CKR1.
  3. UHW10/HWSS Unvented DHW Storage Systems.
  4. NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent).
  5. Some experience installing Air/Ground source heat pumps.

What We Offer:
  1. Full Time hours per week (Monday-Friday).
  2. Salary £42,000 plus Call out Allowance.
  3. 36 days annual leave, including Bank Holidays.
  4. If Self-employed, get equivalent of £6,000 in Holiday pay.
