Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer Opportunity

Venn Group is seeking a skilled Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a reputable Local Authority in the West Midlands. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of commercial contracts, including Section 75 agreements, Adult Social Care (ASC) contracts, and healthcare contracts.
  • Provide legal guidance on public procurement processes and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and policy requirements.
  • Advising on procurement matters, commercial contracts, and some construction-related work.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a strong background in commercial contracts.
  • Proven experience in handling Section 75 agreements, healthcare, and ASC contracts, as well as procurement and commercial matters.
  • Familiarity with construction-related legal work is beneficial.

What We Offer:

Up to £60 per hour Umbrella, with the potential for flexibility for the right candidate. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a Local Authority team while enjoying the benefits of remote working.
