We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Burnview Healthcare. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our care homes.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all areas of the home are clean, well-maintained, and free from hazards. This will involve a range of tasks, including cleaning floors, surfaces, and equipment, as well as replenishing supplies and reporting any maintenance issues.
Main Responsibilities- Carry out all aspects of cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Replenish supplies, including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the Nurse Manager or Maintenance person.
- Participate in staff and resident meetings as required.
- Attend mandatory training days/courses as needed.
- Genuine interest in cleaning and a desire to maintain a neat and tidy environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Team player.
