About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Laundry Assistant to join our team at Soho Farmhouse. As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the laundry is fully stocked, guest's laundry is completed to a high standard, and supporting the rooms operation with the delivery and collection of extra beds, baby cots, high chairs, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laundry Operations: Wash and fold guest laundry, stock and clean the laundry rooms, collect and deliver linen to all departments.
  • Reporting and Maintenance: Report technical issues and maintenance needs to supervisor or manager on shift.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests and respond to queries.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Take daily responsibility for any equipment and carry out weekly checks of baby cots, high chairs, extra beds, and laundry areas.
  • Teamwork: Be able to work confidently across all areas of the site, not just laundry.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comply and follow our Soho House safety standards.
  • Laundry Vehicle Maintenance: Charge and clean the laundry vehicle.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in housekeeping is beneficial.
  • Team Player: Team player who communicates well with all colleagues.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Sense of Urgency: Sense of urgency.
  • Yes, Yes, Yes Mentality: Yes, yes, yes mentality.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required.
Working Hours
  • Varying Shifts: Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working weekends, opens & closes.
  • Average Hours: Average hours 32-45 hours per week.
