About the Role

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our specialist drug and alcohol service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with adult service users to provide evidence-based interventions and support their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual and group therapies to service users with substance misuse issues
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of service policies and procedures
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist
  • Post-qualification experience working with substance misuse
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
