My client, a well-established commercial law firm in London, is seeking a Paralegal to join their Housing Management and Property Litigation team.

About the Role

This is a hybrid working opportunity, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home after a period of training. The Paralegal will support senior lawyers and build their own caseloads, providing advice and assistance to Registered Providers of Social Housing and private landlords in a range of matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist solicitors and other fee earners in the day-to-day running of files
  • Draft and prepare claim forms, pleadings, and witness statements for the County Court
  • Efficiently manage multiple deadlines for various cases
  • Prepare trial bundles and liaise with the Court prior to trials
  • Attend Court to assist Barristers and other fee-earners
  • Conduct advocacy in the County Court on routine matters
  • Assist with client enquiries, chasing paperwork
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be LPC qualified and have a specific interest in the Housing sector. Experience in housing management, leasehold management, or property litigation is desirable but not essential. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
