About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Orthodontics to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a Consultant in Orthodontics, you will be responsible for providing high-quality orthodontic services to patients across North Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide orthodontic services within the outpatient departments as part of a network of orthodontic services across North Wales.
  • Collaborate with enthusiastic and supportive colleagues across the region to enhance the comprehensive Consultant service for North Wales.
  • Treat severe and complex malocclusions to the highest standard.
  • Emphasize multi-disciplinary management, including orthognathic surgery and collaboration with restorative dentistry.
  • Provide local orthodontic care as part of the Regional Cleft Lip and Palate Network.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Full GDC Registration
  • Specialist Membership in Orthodontics or equivalent
  • Be on the GDC Specialist Register in Orthodontics
  • Commitment to continued professional development through lifelong learning
