Job Opportunity: Senior Backend Engineer

Location: Leeds, Remote

Salary: £60k - £75k

Fruition IT is partnering with a leading tech company to find a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge software platform, leveraging AWS and Node JS to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building high-performance, low-latency platforms, with a strong understanding of Terraform, Java, and Spring Boot. They will work closely with agile teams to deliver software solutions, supporting continuous integration and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop a bespoke SaaS product using AWS and Node JS.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet software deliverables.
  3. Implement continuous integration and deployment processes.
  4. Develop high-load backend software using Java and Spring Boot.
  5. Work in an AWS environment, with experience in cloud computing.
  6. Strong JavaScript development skills, with knowledge of Typescript and React.
  7. Good understanding of cloud exposure, with experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  8. Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MySQL.
