Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Controller to join our team at Atkinson Moss. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for managing our company's credit risk and ensuring the timely collection of payments from our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Credit Control Policies: Create and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of bad debt and support business growth opportunities.
- Manage Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain excellent relationships with our customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of any issues.
- Monitor and Approve Credit Limits: Review and approve customer credit limits in line with our company's credit control policy to ensure that we are managing our risk effectively.
- Administer Credit Card Merchant Facilities: Manage our credit card merchant facilities to ensure that we are processing payments efficiently and effectively.
- Provide Financial Insights: Analyze and provide regular financial reports to our senior management team, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with our finance team to ensure that we are providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that we are complying with all relevant laws and regulations related to credit control and debt collection.
Requirements:
- Strong Credit Control Experience: You will have a proven track record of managing credit risk and ensuring the timely collection of payments.
- Commercial Awareness: You will have a strong understanding of commercial finance and be able to analyze financial data to inform business decisions.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You will be able to communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that we are providing excellent customer service.
