Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding heavy duty 40mm steel components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding on heavy duty 40mm steel components and assemblies
  • Handling and positioning metal components or assemblies to be welded, ensuring proper alignment and fit-up according to welding specifications
  • Performing MIG welding operations to join metal parts or structures together, using a handheld welding gun to deposit molten filler metal along the joint while maintaining a stable arc
  • Monitoring weld quality during the welding process, inspecting weld beads for proper fusion, penetration, and appearance
  • Making adjustments to welding parameters as needed to achieve desired results
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while performing welding

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail
  • Previous experience welding to 40mm thickness
  • Strong emphasis on workplace safety
