We are seeking a knowledgeable and innovative Lead Care Services Manager to join our esteemed organization. This is a full-time, permanent role that involves field-based responsibilities within a well-respected care provider.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Assist service managers in enhancing their operational and managerial expertise, particularly in areas requiring targeted support.
- Collaborate with Locality Managers and Registered Managers, working alongside the Quality Assurance, Finance, HR, and Learning & Development teams to pinpoint risks and integrate lessons learned into future practices.
- Participate in and contribute to the region's Senior Management Team (SMT) meetings, offering insights on recurring themes and suggesting service modifications that enhance the quality of care provided.
- Effectively manage HR-related employee investigations across services in the region, generating pertinent reports in line with organizational policies for review by the commissioning manager.
- Support Registered Managers in resolving conflicts and mediating disputes to reduce the likelihood of staffing issues.
- Identify opportunities for service enhancement and assist in implementing strategies aimed at delivering high-quality care, working closely with Registered Managers and Locality Managers to develop clear service and personnel development plans.
- Promote and advocate for the organization's vision, mission, and values, ensuring they are reflected in all activities and supported services.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience as a CQC Registered Manager.
- Experience collaborating with statutory authorities to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults.
- A comprehensive understanding of high-quality, person-centered care principles and non-discriminatory practices.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulatory standards and experience with inspections.
- Performance management experience, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations and addressing their support needs.
- A relevant Health and Social Care qualification equivalent to Level 5.
- Experience in conducting and reviewing risk assessments.
- Financial management and budgeting experience within the care sector.
- Quality assurance expertise.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and service users.
