Permanent Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a reputable manufacturing company in Dundee. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems, working on cutting-edge projects in automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and commissioning of mechanical systems
  • Assembly and testing of mechanical assemblies and pneumatic systems
  • Debugging and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
  • Participation in internal machine trials and client FAT
  • Client machine installation, commissioning, and training
Requirements:
  • Previous assembly experience in a machine manufacturing environment
  • Building engineering assemblies and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and parts lists
  • Routing and installing machine wiring (with instructions from electrical engineer)
  • Good level of communication and problem-solving skills
  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship
  • NC/HNC Engineering discipline
  • Experience of using machine tools such as lathes/milling/grinding
