About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Labor Administrator to contribute to the success of our global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a dynamic team in International Procurement & Logistics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling workforce according to business needs both in advance and on short notice, communicating daily with managers, supervisors, and leaders regarding staffing issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data input into the Time Management System, ensuring accurate and timely recording of absence and non-compliance.
  • Monitoring absence, reporting, and escalating as required, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Booking holidays in accordance with policy and guidelines, escalating any issues to the Manager and colleagues' leader.
  • Collating requirements and requests for overtime and Shift Swaps, ensuring allocation in line with policy and guidelines.
  • Supporting the Manager in addressing clocking anomalies and managing/escalating as appropriate.
  • Arranging the induction of colleagues, including factor tours, introductions, and follow-ups.
  • Liaising with internal departments to create a robust manpower plan based on volumes, skill levels, and capability of colleagues.
  • Demonstrating company values and supporting others within the operation.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers.

Requirements:

  • IT Literacy – knowledge of Microsoft Excel at Basic level (Intermediate desirable).
  • Experience of working within a large, fast-paced Operations/Factory/Production site, ideally within FMCG/Pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience of developing excellent working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle matters with discretion and respect confidentiality.
  • Forward thinking with good planning skills.
  • Strong influencing skills and motivational skills.
  • Clear communication style face-to-face, written, and via the telephone.
  • Confidence in front of opposition or challenge.
  • Previous experience working with KPIs (desirable).
