- Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring they align with business goals and agile methodologies. You'll serve as a key advocate for the Portfolio Management Office.
- Strategic Release Planning: Play a crucial role in shaping the broader portfolio by leveraging agile practices to adapt to shifting priorities and market trends.
- Change Management: Embrace and promote a positive attitude towards change, guiding teams through transformation with clarity and confidence.
- Agile Facilitation: Lead agile ceremonies and processes, keeping teams focused, aligned, and motivated to deliver top-quality results.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, using agile frameworks to navigate challenges and ensure successful delivery.
- Drive the adoption of project management best practices: Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all project activities.
Requirements:
- Proven Project Management Skills: Experience managing a diverse range of projects from start to finish across various business functions, with the ability to navigate both agile and waterfall environments.
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle: Databases, system design, with the ability to translate technical language for non-technical audiences.
- A certified Project Management qualification: Relevant IT/Management qualification, showcasing your dedication to professional development and industry best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Services: Particularly in areas like BACS, direct debits, payment cards, prepaid, and cash transactions.
