Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teacher Apprenticeship Specialist. This role will provide support to students with Additional Support Needs (ASN) in a variety of settings, including primary and secondary schools.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to students with ASN in a variety of settings, including primary and secondary schools.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Assist with the identification and assessment of student needs, and develop strategies to support successful transitions into primary settings.
  • Support the creation of individualized curriculum packages and contribute to the development of positive post-school destinations in partnership with other agencies.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Teacher and Head Teacher to prioritize support for non-resourced primary settings and deploy interventions and support flexibly.
