As part of a close-knit team of three, within our broader organization, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the payment process and ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Maintaining a robust monthly cash flow and making informed financial decisions.
- Inputting billing information into client systems and ensuring accurate invoicing.
- Following up on payment approvals post-processing and resolving any discrepancies.
- Ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.
- Coordinating with sub-contractors to obtain applications and ensuring seamless communication.
- Issuing payment certificates and ensuring they are assigned to the finance team.
- Keeping internal job systems updated and accurate on a daily and monthly basis.
- Ensuring correct revenue capture and making adjustments as necessary.
- Conducting reconciliations following Month-End activities and identifying areas for improvement.
The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 bachelor's degree or equivalent, possess a full UK driving license, and while experience in an administrative, financial, or commercial role is advantageous, it is not essential.
