Cavendish Nuclear is working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Welding Technical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project.

The MEH Alliance is a collaborative approach to integrate and coordinate the delivery of main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station's vast network of rooms.

The Role

As a Welding Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for operating the site Welding Quality Management Systems, inputting welding data, generating and issuing Weld Process Control Cards for site welding activities, and contributing to the completion of site welding qualifications.

You will be part of a team that works together to ensure the highest quality welding standards are met, and that all welding activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operate the site Welding Quality Management Systems
  2. Input welding data and generate Weld Process Control Cards
  3. Contribute to the completion of site welding qualifications
  4. Work collaboratively with the MEH Alliance team to ensure high-quality welding standards
