An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Technician to join our team at ADM in Corby, UK. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing electro-mechanical cover for our mill and packing lines, ensuring the smooth operation of our wheat flour production process.
Your Responsibilities
- Work within the Company Safety and Health guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Investigate and undertake electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs and fault finding within the plant.
- Ensure food safety compliance requirements are met within the plant.
- Develop and execute small projects within the Plant environment.
- Source and order replacement parts for Plant equipment.
- Issue permits and control on-site contractors.
- Conduct RCA and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete and improve planned maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to achieve plant performance objectives.
Your Profile
- Hold a City and Guilds qualification or equivalent, or be a qualified time-served multi-skilled engineer.
- Be competent in working with voltages up to 415.
- Be computer literate with various Microsoft packages.
- Knowledge of PLCs would be advantageous.
- Fabricating and welding experience would be advantageous.
- Hold a City and Guilds 18th edition qualification (or equivalent).
- Have a good level of electrical and mechanical skills, as well as process control engineering competence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work to the highest standards of safety within a team environment or working alone.
