Role Overview
The Logistics Traffic Coordinator position reports directly to the Operations Manager and is tasked with ensuring that depot service delivery and collection objectives are met in accordance with budgetary constraints, while consistently providing the appropriate service level to all Customers in compliance with company protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage daily and weekly performance reports as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to collection standards.
- Oversee all critical controls related to vehicle operations.
- Evaluate and monitor operational performance, taking prompt action to resolve any identified issues.
- Guarantee compliance with all legal obligations of the company.
- Maintain close oversight of subcontractors to ensure efficient service delivery within budgetary limits.
- Implement a thorough pre-briefing and de-briefing process consistently.
- Develop contingency plans for routing.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance service levels while minimizing costs.
- Manage health and safety protocols effectively.
- Lead the Traffic team with efficiency.
