As a Senior System Design Authority at Odd Shoes, you'll have the opportunity to lead a major new project team in the land domain for C4ISR customers. You'll work across the entire lifecycle, from bid to release and aftercare, designing and developing complex battlefield communications systems involving specialist sensors, electronics, signal processing, firmware, and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop systems across the entire lifecycle within the defence industry, including hardware, software, firmware, and electronics.
• Lead a project team in the land domain for C4ISR customers, working across the entire lifecycle.
• Develop and implement complex battlefield communications systems involving specialist sensors, electronics, signal processing, firmware, and software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• SC clearance as a single British passport holder (DV clearance may be required).
• Experience with designing systems across the entire lifecycle within the defence industry, including hardware, software, firmware, and electronics.
• Skills in modern C, Java, and C# programming languages.
• Understanding of network technologies and military-grade COTS communications and sensor systems.
• Experience with requirements management tools like DOORS or similar.
