We are currently collaborating with a manufacturing client seeking to fill the position of Quality Engineer.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing or engineering context. While having ISO 9001: 2015 Internal Auditor training is advantageous, the organization is willing to provide this training if necessary.
The selected candidate will report directly to the Senior Quality Engineer and will be tasked with:
- Managing the product approval process from the initial application stage through to the completion of third-party certification.
- Coordinating and providing updates on the Engineering Change Request system to ensure that all activities are managed efficiently and completed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that all documentation related to products and quality systems is properly maintained and controlled.
- Maintaining the internal product audit schedule and fulfilling all necessary responsibilities as an internal auditor.
- Assisting senior quality personnel with daily quality control and assurance tasks.
- Offering engineering support to operational departments to ensure the consistent application of quality methodologies.
Essential qualifications include:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance.
- The capability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
- A Level 4 Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering principles.
