About the Role

Fawkes and Reece, a leading Subcontractor firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator to join their team in London.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential groundworks and RC frame projects, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide estimating support for bids and contracts to ensure robust pricing, risk management, and governance.
  • Assist and advise the Senior Management Team on commercial influences and risks around any bids.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to produce accurate and timely estimates/cost data.
  • Ensure that supplier/subcontractor terms are aligned with client requirements and identify any deviations.
  • Prioritize workload and support the team to produce results in a timely manner to meet business needs.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including customers and operational colleagues.
  • Develop and implement changes to processes to improve performance.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in the groundworks/RC Frame industry, preferably with experience in both environments.
  • Effective communication and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent people management skills.
